University of Victoria

While the University of Victoria in British Colombia is consistently ranked Canada’s top comprehensive university, research confirmed that poor differentiation and awareness was hampering its growth. Our tasks: engage the entire campus in the process of creating an authentic, compelling narrative; create a distinctive “look”; and develop a multi-year marketing strategy. Working closely with the internal marketing team, we transformed UVic’s image dramatically without changing its official emblem. Once the original program was well-established, we worked with the University’s Communications and Marketing team to engage all faculties and units in creating a robust, multi-year, institution-wide plan for brand investment priorities.
